Oz
This incredible Yooper band formed early in 2012 after the breakup of a few local bands. Three musicians decided to get together for a weekly jam. Joe Sullivan, Ted Wolf and Fred Noeske were soon joined by other musicians for their weekly jams. Kevin Bellefeuil stepped in on bass and when Ryan Doda showed up to jam and things started getting really good. Soon word got out about the weekly jam sessions and these guys were contacted about playing a summer music festival. Ted was called the Wizard for so many weeks it was decided to name the band Oz and a play list was put together and since then this hot band has been on a roll!!
In 2020, Fred Noeske left the band when he moved out of state and Todd Silverstone joined adding another seasoned vet to the mix. Oz truly is a traveling band of buddies who show up to give the crowd a great show.
If you enjoy classic rock you’ll love Oz! You’ll hear your favorite songs by Styx, REO, Journey, Rush, BTO, Donny Iris, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Queen, Chicago, Kansas, Collective Soul, The Darkness, Loverboy, Foreigner, Survivor, April Wine, Cheap Trick, and more. These are the songs the band grew up loving and still love to play them for crowds of all ages.
Come out and enjoy a night of great music and friends!!
Friday Night.
Tom Katalin and Highway 41
Tom Katalin and Highway 41 is a country band from the U.P. of Michigan with an all-star line-up of highly experienced and talented musicians. The band was formed in 2017 and has fast become a regional favorite across Upper Michigan and Wisconsin. This group of musicians is no stranger to the music scene. Tom has played nationwide from stages in Las Vegas, tiki bars in Florida, barns in Iowa, many of your favorite honkey tonks in Nashville and also in the great state of Texas. Paul is a Nashville recording artist who has collaborated with singer-songwriter and record producer “Cowboy” Jack Clement. Scott is a rocker gone country and a solid bass player. If you’re at a show and request a rock tune, the band might whip out some AC/DC or Metallica with Scott on vocals and will blow your mind. The newest addition to the band, but certainly not a newbie on the music scene, Mike Hauswirth (“The Hozz”), has been playing professionally for over 25 years including with the bands Uncle Ugly, Slave to Gravity and Iron Daisy. Hozz is not only a talented singer and songwriter, with over 80 original tunes recorded, he is a bad ass drummer, lead, bass and keyboard player! He does it all. Highway 41 has recently opened for national headliners Blackhawk, David Allen Coe, Ricky Skaggs and more. Tom Katalin and Highway 41 play current country, classic and everything in-between. Put your dancin’ shoes on and catch Highway 41 live at Boogie Fest–Saturday 1 pm!!
Reilly
Winners of the folk rock/Celtic band of the year award by Wisconsin Area Music Industry for 2019 and 2015, Reilly have garnered a reputation for being an interactive, get-off-your-chair act. The band’s circuit continues to grow along with their reputation for being a highly respected professional group.
Their ability to adapt Celtic music to an American rock audience, and include unexpected rock favorites into their set, makes them the perfect eclectic choice in today’s watered down and predictable Celtic scene.
Reilly will be joining us from Milwaukee, WI and will hit the Boogie Fest stage on Sunday afternoon!
